6/27/09 Jami and Joel

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

Check out these first set of pictures from my new friends at Lace Hanky Photography.  They told me that some of these are going to be publised in the 2010 Spring issue of the KNOT magazine! Yippee!  I can’t wait to see it!  More coming soon….

jami2.jpgjami1.jpgjami3.jpgjami5.jpgjami4.jpgJami and Joel were married on a blustery but fabulous day at the gorgeous and Historic Washing County Courthouse in downtown Stillwater http://www.co.washington.mn.us/info_for_residents/parks_division/historic_courthouse/

Jami is a fun, spirited grade-school teacher that came to me with an open mind for her wedding flowers and decor.  She wanted yellow, blue, green, and white and loves textures.  We gave her all that and more! We used mint as some of the greenery in the personal flowers that smelled wonderful! She had already purchased some gorgeous cobalt blue containers that she wanted to incorporate into her reception centerpieces.  We ended up using most of her pieces and incorporating some rental vases as well.

Stay tuned for the professional pictures from the great Lacey and Amanda from Lace Hanky Photography http://www.lacehanky.com/. They had such great energy! lalla-and-olson-0841.jpg

Marisa and Matt got married at my favorite venue, the Mill City Ruins in Minneapolis http://www.millcitymuseum.org/.  She wanted pink, pink, and more pink.  Using Peonies, Hydrangea, Mums, Dahlias, Carnations, and Ranunculus we achieved her desire for pink.  I made the Chuppah (or house) for Marisa and Matt to exchange their vows under using gorgeous ceramic pots (that Marisa will later use in her garden) filled with Birch trees and topped it with 3 Tallits (Jewish prayer Shawls) from Matt, his father, and grandfather’s Bar Mitzvahs.  Check out the ab-fab professional images from Erica Hanson from Studio 188 www.studio188.com.  Thanks Erica!!! MAZEL TOV!
