12/29/07 Kelsey and Mark
Saturday, December 29th, 2007Kelsey and her mom were two of the cutest ladies I’ve gotten to work with. They had great attitudes and fabulous taste. We chose deep red Roses, ruffled green Roses, bright green Cymbidium Orchids and sparkly red berries for the bouquets and personal flowers. For the centerpieces we used a trio of cylinder vases, the tallest holding a spray of green Dendrobium Orchids with a base of cranberries, the middle stout vase held a variety of sizes of silver and sparkly silver ornaments topped with a single, large green Cymbidium, and the shortest vase was filled with the red and green roses, greens, and sparkly berries. The ceremony was beautiful with the pews decked out with large bows, streamers, and swags of ribbon, a generous sprinkling of red rose petals for the entrance of the church, and altar arrangements mimicking the centerpieces.
The reception was at the lavish Saint Paul Hotel https://www.saintpaulhotel.com/weddings_and_events/ where every last detail was attended to. The food and the ambiance was exquisite and we enjoyed every moment of this wedding. The head table was decked out with green Dendrobium orchid topped champagne glasses, large, very open red roses in shallow bowls, and sprinkling of red rose petals.
I hope you had fun (you and your 40 guests) in the Camen Islands! Thanks for letting us crash your party and please, keep in touch.
You did an outstanding job on the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and arrangements. They were all lovely and made the reception site so festive and warm. Also a special thanks for making our church sanctuary look so cozy and inviting. Because of your foresight in making an extra corsage and an extra boutonniere all was perfect. As you know, a homeless man stole one boutonniere and I lost a corsage somewhere between picking it up out of the basket and locating our placecard helper.
Please feel free to use Kelsey and me as references. We both wish you the very best in 2008 and hope you are able to create flower arrangements as your sole job.
I hope our paths cross again.
Warm regards,
Sherry
