Sunday, June 27th, 20106/5/10 Traci and Justin
Sunday, June 27th, 2010I was fortunate enough to do her sister’s, Tammi’s, wedding flowers and then I get to do Traci’s too! Can’t wait to do the next family member/friend’s wedding:) This one took place at the absolutely gorgeous venue, the Stillwater Library.
5/23 Kira and John
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010I find it a bit odd that I’ve now had two weddings take place at the Como Zoo where I didn’t meet the bride until the day of her wedding. Fortunately both have turned out fantastic. Kira and John are a super sweet couple and pretty to boot! Check out the first 5 photos by the professional, Viveria Photography and then the rest, of course, by me.
04/16/10 Melissa and Kami
Saturday, April 24th, 2010I was lucky enough to make not only one fan-fricking-tastic bouquet for a lovely wedding, but two for my bride’s Melissa and Kami. Kami’s sister, Kelly, and I went to high school together back in the day and we are friends on Facebook. She recommended her sister to check me out and I’m so glad she did because this cute couple had not only darn good taste in flowers, but were super fun to boot!
We gave each girl their own custom handle treatment and at the last moment, added the green Hanging Amaranthus because it just was too good to pass up.
Check out the centerpieces we got to help with and especially note one of the table names (which were favorite stomping grounds of the ladies) the Blue Door Pub, WITH my winter pots in view to make it extra special! :) wish you two a lifetime of happiness and joy. Have a great time in Florida and please, keep in touch!

Saturday, February 27th, 201011/7/09 Amanda and Marc
Saturday, November 7th, 2009Amanda was one of the sweetest brides to date. her and her handsome fiance, Marc, came to me with a couple of pictures of arrangements they liked. We picked out our favorite elements and added a few of our own to come up with one-of-a-kind custom floral arrangements tailored to their event. They get ready for their most important day at the always perfect St. Paul Hotel and had their ceremony and reception at the James J. Hill Library, appropriate since Amanda is a librarian.
A note from the bride:
Dear Carra,
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! We are so grateful that we found you! You were absolutely amazing to work with when we met you in January and I can still say that all the way through November that continued. Marc and I both agree that you made the wedding come to life with your amazing floral creations. We thought we had an idea of what the flowers would look like, but there was no way we could have ever imagined the product you gave us. People are STILL talking about the gorgeous flowers! I cannot thank you enough or tell you enough how great you were, easy to work with and most importantly–made me at ease throughout the whole process. I can only hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. I’m thrilled to have met you and Marc is still pleased that you served beer at the consultation–his favorite part of the entire planning ; )You’re a dear and so is your entire family for pitching in on the big day! I hope we get to work together again, because I love what you do. Many thanks to you and hope you have a wonderful (restful, you deserve it) Thanksgiving! ~AmandaPS–I’ll forward along pix from Josh-the-photographer when I get them.PPS—SERIOUSLY, THANK YOU!

A review from the bride on Wedding Wire:
Carra was an absolute pleasure to work with during the hectic and stressful time that is wedding planning. She was fun to work with, full of great ideas, quick to respond and super flexible when I had last minute changes. I’m amazed at how right on she was with what we had imagined for our flowers. She managed to even top our imaginations and even had a few surprises for us when we arrived at the reception venue. So great to work with, I’ll miss chatting with her!

Saturday, October 31st, 2009HALLOWEEN WEDDING!!!!
:)
:) From the moment I met Ann, with her funky colored nails, I knew this was going to be a super fun wedding. She was laid back from the beginning of our meeting to the day of her wedding. When her husband decided against using pumpkins as centerpieces, she let me easily talk them back into using them…and I am so glad they did! I found gorgeous grey-green, white, zitty, and cantaloupe colored pumpkins to design in. I soon learned the cooler the pumpkin was, the harder it was to cut. My arms got quite the workout scraping all those gourds!
My favorite part of the flowers for this wedding were the handle treatments adorned with black feathers and silver accent wire- they felt amazing!
After a formal ceremony everyone dressed up in costume (The groom a vampire and the bride a sexy vampire), they had face painters, a room full of fun things for kids to do, and even bubble blowers!
Thanks Ann, for letting me in on the fun!
A review from the bride on Wedding Wire:
Carra is truly awesome. At our first meeting, she was prepared with pictures for ideas and took down everything I liked and didn’t like. She is extremely talented and definitely knows what she is doing! It has already been a week and a half and my flower center pieces are still looking as beautiful as on the first day! I have friends getting married in the next few years and I’m already telling them to call her!
